As part of a complete site refreshments we were asked to design and supply a complete new galley kitchen to fit within the limited space available. Not shown on the images is a separate storage room in which we supplied storage refrigeration/freezers and racking.

The site had limited electrical and gas capabilities and so to overcome this we supplied LPG-fired cooking equipment so the site could run off bottled gas.

Planning was an issue in terms of the ventilation scheme. We submitted drawings to the Sheffield City Council planning department (attached) which were approved.

The kitchen design presented many difficulties purely because of the lack of space. We had to utilise space to its maximum potential considering under and over counter storage wherever possible.
