Barbecue Restaurant

Barbecue Restaurant

We are delighted to have recently completed the design and supply of a barbecue restaurant in Cumbria. This is the second such themed restaurant we have completed and like the first we enjoyed a fun packed opening evening.

The business model is to cook and serve various cuts of mouth-watering meats via staff who literally carve at the customers table. The staff continually rotates the restaurant to ensure the customer has ample opportunity to try all the meats, ranging from beef sirloin to chicken hearts.

In the centre of the dining area is an island station that holds a mixture of cold and hot sides.

From a catering perspective the heart of the kitchen is the show piece barbecue oven that spit roasts the meat cuts. This oven is gas fired and has a 3 phase rotating motor. Additional to this is plenty of preparation top space and refrigerated storage. The food prep equipment was supplied by Sammic and the ware washing by Hobart.

The building itself is internally stunning with a beautiful brick vaulted ceiling in the basement. The restaurant is split into two with a ‘mini’ version of the upstairs kitchen located in the basement. This can be seen on the attached pictures.
